After I ordered a Baseus CXMF-02 Cube Shaking Desktop Fan, I received a call from the sales team notifying that the product is not currently available and a similar product is available. He also mentioned the similar Mi product (FA26) model over that. So I confirmed the order and asked to send.
I received the product today. This is
1. Half the size compared to the product I ordered (135(L) x 164(H) vs 223 (L) x 245(H)
2. Less than half the capacity (4W vs 10W and 2000mAh vs 5400mAh)
3. Does not have rotation function
I understand that I have acknowledged the model number and asked to send the replacement product, so I should not complain, but could you please try to clarifying the below.
1. How these two models are considered similar?
2. Why sufficient information was not provided for decision making during the phone call? He mentioned that it is a similar fan and it is a box fan. Was it good enough? Was it not misleading enough given that this is half the size in all aspects?
3. If sufficient information was not ready with the sales team, why did not request to check the model specification and then to decide?
I understand site is one of the best sites in BD, I am a repeat customer as well, however these types of misconducts will have massive negative impact on your goodwill and eventually will impact your overall business.
